Things To Do

Lantana embraces a rich history of nearly 35 years of marine service. Positioned in what was once a small  fishing village, the area reflects the quiet pace and understated grace of Old Florida. You will always find a smile and warm hospitality here. Conveniently located directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, Moorings Marina at Lantana the intra-coastal waterway  offers a vast array of water activities including fishing, and waterfront dining.

Cruising north from our dock, past the lighthouse, the intracoastal waterway takes you along the shores of West Palm Beach, Lantana, Lake worth, Pompano Beach, Peanut Island where you will see some of the most impressive homes and estates in Florida. If you feel like jumping into the water and cooling off, you will find sandbars and sandy beaches along your way north. Further north you enter the unspoiled natural beauty of the St. Lucie Inlet State Park in nature preserve. This is truly a world away from the every day, where Osprey, Bald Eagle, Blue Heron and Egrets are common sites. Don’t be surprised if along the way you see dolphins and manatee.

A favorite destination heading north is Peck’s Lake. Here you can beach the boat on the intracoastal side of the barrier island and walk 150 feet through the dunes to a pristine 5 mile long oceanfront beach. There are no buildings, roads, or cars on this on spoiled beach only access is by boat.

Should you get hungry, we can recommend some waterside restaurants where you dock the boat and have lunch on the water or dock in the water and have your food catered in.

If you choose to sample civilization, you can cruise south from our location to find terrific dockside restaurants, beautiful waterfront communities , visit peanut island, picnic facilities, museums, and swimming and snorkeling protected areas.

The waters around palm beach that have a wonderful tropical feel; you’ll swear your boating in paradise.
